  • Bear Valley Skiing - usually MLK holiday in January or President's Day weekend; not really camping as we rent a cabin, but still a lot of fun
  • Whitewater Rafting - South fork of the American River; usual July outing
  • Yosemite National Park - "Walls and Falls" progressive hike
  • Battery Alexander - Marin Headlands
  • Samuel P. Taylor State Park - Marin County
  • Moaning Caverns/Calaveras Big Trees - rappelling!
  • Sunset Beach - Monterey Bay
  • Angel Island - San Francisco Bay
  • USS Hornet - WWII aircraft carrier docked in Alameda
  • Brannan Island - Delta Fishing and Kite Flying
